Hip Implants​

OrthoMedFlex implants are comparable to industry-leading devices with established histories offered by well-known orthopedic companies. Our devices meet the sizing and material requirements demanded by modern procedures and methodologies.

The Kratos™ stem is manufactured from Ti6Al4V, coated with hydroxyapatite, and has a 12/14 taper for compatibility with the full range of OrthoMedFlex metal heads and CeramTec BIOLOX® delta ceramic heads. Available in 10 sizes with the following offsets and options: standard, standard w/ collar, high offset, and coxa vara w/ collar. 

The Pelion™ cemented stem is manufactured from high-nitrogen stainless steel and polished to a mirror finish to reduce friction against cement. A 12/14 taper provides compatibility with OrthoMedFlex metal heads, CeramTec BIOLOX® delta ceramic heads, and adaption to tapered sleeves for hemiarthoplasty. Available in 5 sizes in standard offset and high offset.

The Orion™ flat tapered wedge stem is manufactured from Ti6Al4V and coated proximally with a porous, sintered titanium coating. A 12/14 taper provides compatibility with the full range of OrthoMedFlex metal heads and CeramTec BIOLOX® delta ceramic heads. Available in 13 sizes in standard offset and high offset.

The Tryon™ acetabular cup is manufactured from Ti6Al4V and coated with sintered titanium particles for a porous finish to promote cementless fixation and bone ingrowth. Available in diameters 44 to 68.

Liners are machined from cross-linked UHMWPE and are available in neutral, lipped, face-changing, and offset configurations. Available for 28, 32, 36, and 40mm heads.

Instrumentation

The OrthoMedFlex 2-tray hip instrument kit has been ergonomically optimized. All instruments have gone through a refinement process based on user feedback and lab reviews. The result is a rationalized system focused on modularity and efficiency. Trays are designed for easy identification of instrumentation and quick turnaround time.
